THE DAY I GOT A DISNEY GIFT
The life of a teacher is not easy, especially when you are a language teacher working with children aged two to eight. However, there are moments that are truly unique and unforgettable, whether for their emotional touch or their comic side.
Last Friday, I taught my two- to three-year-old class when I received a gift from a student who returned from Disney. It was a beautiful keychain with the initial of my name. When one of the other children saw the present, she asked me why it had the letter “A.” I explained that it was because of my name, Aline. Then the little one, with great surprise, said:
— Aline? I thought your name was Teacher!
And just like that, my school week ended with the innocence of children, which brought joy to my otherwise tiring routine.
